What this check tells you
This calculator compares rectangular dimensions only. A fit does not establish hoop compatibility, clearance around a design, fabric suitability, stitch quality, or whether your machine can read a particular file.
The design fits when its width and height are each no larger than the stated field. With rotation enabled, the calculator also checks the dimensions after a 90-degree turn. One inch equals 25.4 millimeters. The calculation does not resize, split, or edit your design.
Before you stitch
- Read the exact design dimensions in your design file or software, including any border or lettering.
- Confirm the usable embroidery field for your machine, hoop, and setup in the manufacturer's documentation.
- Use the same units or choose the appropriate unit for each set of dimensions. Treat a boundary fit cautiously and follow the manual's clearance requirements.
- Check the file format and setup in your machine documentation before stitching.
Sources and missing data
Model dimensions are supplied with a reference source. Missing dimensions or an unusable source return insufficient data. Manual fields are values you supply and are not independently verified by this tool.
